I was brought up a catholic and took the kids to church when they were young in an attempt to help build a set of values that would set them on a healthy path in life. I am not deeply religious but I always thought the greatest gift to humanity was the ten commandments via the Jewish faith which I respect. In particular: Thou shalt not kill Thou shalt not steal Thou shalt not bear false witness as well as Love thy neighbour as thy self I can't quote scripture extensively but wider respect of these basic rules would solve many problems in the world.

Thank you, for your Awareness of Gun Violence. Our Session is very active at Mountain Shadow Presbyterian Church USA. We are working with AZ Home Security, Pima County Sherriff Department with an assigned Deputy to assist how we can keep our members safe. Many churches want Security or members carrying guns that's not us. We have made our Church Gun-Free in God's House with signs posted. Last November 2022, we had a drive-by with 6 shots into our Sanctuary, Office Building from a 9mm gun with a hollow point. Thank goodness no one was on campus during the shooting.
